How billing works

What counts as a
Transaction?

A Transaction in ValetBridge is counted each time a parking charge is successfully posted to the hotel through the ValetBridge integration — whether for a hotel guest or a walk-in visitor. Your monthly tier is determined by the total number of Transactions per hotel, per month, tracked automatically across your entire portfolio.

Definition

Each charge posted to the hotel through ValetBridge counts as one Transaction.

This applies to hotel guests and walk-in visitors alike. If a guest's stay results in multiple charge postings — for example, a nightly parking fee posted each evening — each successful posting counts as one Transaction. Duration of stay does not affect the count; only the number of charges posted does.

Hotel guest example

A guest parks for 2 nights. A charge is posted each night = 2 Transactions.

Visitor example

A walk-in visitor drops off their car, a charge is posted = 1 Transaction. If they return later and a new charge is posted = 1 more Transaction.

Billing Policy

When does a Transaction count?

A Transaction is recorded only when a charge is successfully posted to the hotel through the ValetBridge PMS integration. Attempted postings that fail, are voided, or are reversed before completion do not count.
